Blending the traditional storytelling of 15th-century Afghan poetry with today’s multimedia technologies, this animated short film takes viewers on a journey through the illuminated pages of a manuscript once kept in Kabul—now rendered inaccessible. The film raises awareness of the need to protect a fragile cultural heritage.
The screening will be followed by a live performance centered on Persian calligraphy.
