WEDNESDAY – CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
A festive and slightly offbeat afternoon awaits the children at the museum!
A DJ set transforms the dance floor, set up in the château’s main courtyard, into a joyful and exploratory musical journey, featuring treasures of children’s songs from around the world. Rare gems have been specially selected by Sylvain Quément, a DJ at Radio Minus, to echo the artworks on display in the exhibition ‘Mondes Brodés. Villes flottantes – Forêt universelle’. The kings and queens of the dancefloor set off on a unique journey around the world in the company of visual artist Elsa Mroziewicz.
A pop-up card workshop precedes the DJ set.
RADIO MINUS ON THE DECKS
Radio Minus’s mission is to bring the hidden treasures of children’s music back into the spotlight. There’s no question of playing children songs they already know: drawing on its collection of rare, all-vinyl recordings, the station plays the genre’s most unexpected and unclassifiable tracks. All styles and geographical regions are thus represented: from the most classical orchestrations to the most electronic soundscapes, from alternative educational projects to cartoon soundtracks, from Kabyle folk music to Japanese disco…
Sylvain Quément, founder of the children’s web radio station Radio Minus, is a composer of film, animation and live performance scores.
