New Interactive Digital Tool at the Château-Musée de Saumur | 18th-Century Faience Experience
An Interactive Station at the Château-Musée de Saumur
The Château-Musée de Saumur has enhanced its visitor experience with a new digital tool installed on the first floor, in the decorative arts section.
This interactive station allows visitors to discover, in a fun and educational way, the different stages involved in creating a grand feu ceramic.
Guided by Louis, an 18th-century faience maker, visitors are invited to follow the entire creation process: from shaping the piece to the double firing, including glazing and hand-painted decoration. This digital device enables users to virtually handle workshop tools and gain a better understanding of the gestures and craftsmanship involved in ceramic making.

The game was developed by Toys Films.
